G722 codec Module 

The G722 codec is a standard wideband audio codec offering a better audio quality than the classic telephony with a twice wider vocal specter  (50-7000 Hz with a digitizing of 16 KHz. In comparison; the G711 has a limited specter of 4000 Hz).

This codec and its transcodings (to G711, iLBC, G729) are integrated to the S5000.

The G722 stack by M2Msoft integrates the decoder and encoder of packets G722/PCM and PCM/G722 in 8 KHz and 16 KHz mode.

G722 is normalized by the ITU.

SRTP Stack module

As the number of attacks is increasing everyday on the telephonic systems, M2Msoft integrates various mechanisms of passive and active defense for many years now. Passive defense for the detection of intrusions and parasites; active defense with the encryption of calls (TLS, SRTP - Secure RTP).

SRTP is integrated to the S5000 (Softswitch and IPBX) as an option.

The SRTP M2Msoft stack integrates the management of session keys, the decoder and encoder of packets. The supported ciphers are AES CM 128 SHA1 32 and AES CM 128 SHA1 80.

AES: Advanced Encryption Standard, approved by the NSA in 2001, 'Compting' mode with 128 bits key.
